It had been raining all week, and I was worried that it would rain on our trip to visit Hda. Sta. Rosalia in Manapla. Whne I woke up early that day, lo and behold, it was sunny! I was crossing my fingers that it would hold. It did! The God's were smiling on us that day.
Pam and Jay Jalandoni, Kaila Ledesma, John Bonin, Ruth Cruz and Betsy Gazo were treated to a mouthwatering lunch prepared by Chef Jomi and Chef Rey. we started with Baquirones and homemade bread (prepared in Manapla, may be ordered in advance, and bought in in Trattoria Uma). Lunch was Organic lettuce and mango salad, Osso Buco, grilled liver, Msgr. Gigi's Adobong Milyonaryo, Cream Dory, and crab cakes!! What a feast! Good thing Jay and John had gone to the gym earlier in the day and were able to go for thirds!
Launch was on a Friday, Our weekend had officially begun!!
